| Mark Schulze and Patty Mooney, 1997 and 1998 Top 100 Producers, respectively, report that both the stock-footage and production sides of their business are booming. They recently finished a blue-screen shoot for a documentary about cartoonists and animators; a promotional video for Ford; training and promotional videos for the Newgen automotive fulfillment company and for Murad Skin Care; and a first foray into HDTV, shooting POV images for a new cycling exercise machine. "There's a bigger appetite for video images, especially now that video is more accessible on the Web," says Mooney, who adds that the company just opened a Web division. "Applications are multiplying." |
