| Throughout the 80's and 90's, she and her partner, Mark Schulze, co-produced several award-winning home-video titles, including "Massage For Relaxation," "John Howard's Lessons in Cycling" and multiple-award-winner, "Full Cycle: A World Odyssey." In 2004, Patty produced, shot and edited two documentaries: "My Choice" and "Peace Out San Diego." In 2005, Patty won the "Women Who Mean Business Award" and two Communicator Awards of Distinction for her editing prowess. In 2008, she won the prestigious YWCA Tribute to Women in Industry award for her philanthropic work in the San Diego community.
Patty has produced broadcast segments for Discovery, Access Hollywood, Extra and the Travel Channel. She has edited pieces for MasterCard, Berlex, Plough-Schering, Astrazeneca, Jane Magazine, Glaxo-Smith-Kline, Denny's, Atlas Van Lines, Mail Boxes Etc., NetTalon and San Diego's Hard Rock Hotel.
Since 1975, Patty has written articles for the Los Angeles Times, San Diego Reader, Post Magazine, Create Magazine, Westways, Beauty Digest, Yoga Journal, AV Multimedia Producers Magazine, San Diego Metropolitan Magazine and many others. She currently writes monthly stories for Mountain Bike Tales online, and has a blog, A Diary Left Open, which she faithfully updates every day.
In 2008, along with her partner, Mark Schulze, Patty produced and edited a pro bono documentary called "The Invisible Ones: Homeless Combat Veterans" featuring VA Committee Chair, Congressman Bob Filner, and Military Personnel Committee Chair, Congresswoman Susan Davis. 2009 looks like a great year for "The Invisible Ones" which has already won three prestigious awards.
